Purposes and functions

The Neptune enable the following functions :

• Length slitting. The slitting and rewinding accurancy is provided thanks to an ultra sonic web guide.
• Inspection of missing labels, matrix defaults and flag with automatic stop of any errors on the second splicing table. Possibility to use also ultra sonic sensors for clear and clear material and 100% quality controll feature (cf QA 100).
• Rewind on one shaft preselected rolls or label quantity.

• Sit-down position for the operator who can really focus attention on the inspection procedure.
• Technical advantages : Two parts slitting cassette, double nip rollers for the slitting section, automatic roll diameter calculation without roll arm, touch screen controll panel.
• Very easy machine to handle and excellent accessibility.
