SMAG Impresses Visitors with its New Screen Printing and Finishing Modules for Conventional and Digital Label Converters Worldwide.
Label printers visited SMAG’s vast booth at Labelexpo in Brussels and watched several machines continuously running enhanced labels.
The highlight at SMAG Graphique’s booth was their new Digital Galaxie high-speed, semi-rotary flatbed screen printing station operating at 30m/m speed, with a higher speed in the future, in conjunction with a semi-rotary flexo station and a semi-rotary diecutting station.
Label converters saw firsthand this high-functioning equipment deliver the advantages of screen printing including opacity, chemical resistance, and tactile effects.
SMAG Graphique also released their new entry level finishing and converting series for digital label converters consisting of the I-CUT 330 (330 mm), with semi-rotary die-cutting, UV flexo varnish, slitter rewinder, and unwinder with ultrasonic web guide; and the established I-CUT 250 (250 mm); also, a more compact model with semi-rotary die-cutting and slitter rewinder, plus laminating station.
